List for free. Only pay when your item sells.
There is no listing fee (£0). List for free — only pay when your item sells.
When an item sells, a 5% Marketplace Fee is deducted from the seller's proceeds. Set your asking price to account for the fee.
Buyers pay 5% + £0.50 (or equivalent in USD/EUR) at checkout. Every purchase includes Buyer Protection for secure payments, tracked delivery and support if something goes wrong.
Shipping is calculated separately at checkout based on item size, origin and destination. Shipping is a pass-through cost — no markup. Digital tickets and collection-only items have no shipping cost.
Sellers receive net earnings (sale price minus Marketplace Fee) after the buyer confirms receipt. Until then, buyer payment is held on the CarnivalX platform. Payouts are sent to the seller's connected Stripe account.
If a dispute is upheld, refunds are processed back to the buyer through CarnivalX. Marketplace Fees may be reversed depending on the outcome. Buyer Protection fees are non-refundable except where required by law or policy.
Every fee is itemised in the payment breakdown before you commit to a purchase or accept an offer. What you see is what you pay.
These optional extras are not included in standard marketplace fees.
