Before shipping arrangements. Fees are always deducted from seller proceeds — you cannot opt out.
Higher seller levels unlock reduced success fees as you complete more verified sales on CarnivalX.

There is no listing fee (£0). You only pay when a sale completes.
When an item sells, a success fee is deducted from the seller's proceeds. Sellers cannot choose whether fees are added or deducted — they are always deducted from the sale price. Set your asking price to account for the fee.
Buyers pay a 3% protection/service fee (minimum £1 / $1) added at checkout. It funds secure payments, dispute support and buyer protection on eligible orders.
Shipping is estimated separately based on item size and destination, and added to the buyer's total. Digital tickets and collection-only items have no shipping cost.
Sellers receive their net amount (sale price minus the success fee) after the buyer confirms receipt. For event tickets, payout is released after the event has passed, subject to buyer protection checks.
If a dispute is upheld, refunds are processed back to the buyer through CarnivalX. Seller success fees may be reversed depending on the outcome. Buyer protection fees are non-refundable except where required by law or policy.
